David Zimmerman is a piano technician and freelance musician based in Whitestown, Indiana. He graduated from Ball State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Vocal/General Music Education and taught choir in Indiana public schools for twelve years. David has studied piano technology for many years and is a fully insured technician servicing pianos in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. He is the assistant director of the Circle City Sound chorus, an a cappella barbershop group. He is an arranger and composer of vocal and piano music and has been teaching private lessons on both instruments for many years.
David is a proud member of the Piano Technicians Guild and Barbershop Harmony Society. From a young age, he has sung in a number of choirs and quartets representing a wide variety of musical styles. He has experience coaching quartets and choruses, organizing events for youth, and leading workshops for music education. He currently sings tenor with the 2015 International Champion Quartet, Instant Classic.
